In Her Words
My purpose is to create an imaginary window by which the viewer feels attracted and hypnotized by what is in front of them, asking themselves questions. In the process of observation, the viewer often finds serenity without realizing it at first sight.
My current series, Mending Broken Souls, is created with visible stitches over pieces of paper that are already torn. These stitches are done with long or short threads depending on how profound the wounds. Through my work, I aim to transmit the message that it doesn’t matter how broken you are, the wounds will always heal.
