Anabel Rub Peicher

ARTIST STATEMENT

Born and raised in Lima Peru, relocated to Florida on December 1974. and graduated with a bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Miami.


She has had several solo shows, locally and internationally, including mother and daughter shows and has been the recipient of numerous awards in juried exhibits.


Volunteers teaching art at Brookdale Willow wood retirement community, Meals on Wheels and Gilda’s Club.
 She is President of 2+3 the Artists™ organization, board member of The Broward Art Guild [Chair of Outreach and Co-Chair of Art around Town], member of Artists as Entrepreneurs Institute, ArtServe, Broward College Potters Guild, Ceramic League Miami, Nawa, League of Pen Women and Art MD.


STATEMENT: “Art allows me to express myself in a language of my own in which my inner feelings, passion and emotions flow through.


My art, sculptures and installations are eclectic and allude to the wonders of nature and to the ever changing world we live in.”
