ARTIST STATEMENT

Yves Gabriel’s mixed-media paintings use abstraction and conceptualism as vehicles to address core social and political issues. His work strives to keep the dialogue alive on various issues that continue to weaken our ability to coexist. His paintings employ a wide variety of techniques that encourages patrons to think, react, think, pause, and reflect during the viewing and beyond.
