ARTIST STATEMENT

My current work has developed into a combination of media that I have picked up on through out the years. I was exposed to the computer design programs in the early 90’s while in graduate school and it has continued to infiltrate my work. I have always enjoyed taking photographs and with the onset of the digital camera and the ease of manipulating photos and paintings in the newest computer software programs it continues to fascinate me. It allows me to explore design, color, and pattern in ways that could not be done as easily without the computer.

I continue to incorporate my weaving background as well as to design fabrics that can be incorporated into my final designs.
