In Her Words

As a visual storyteller, I am driven to depict the conceptual essence of my chosen subject matter. I like to take things that touch our lives every day and reinterpret them in my own way. Layout is important to me, so I always begin with a plan, idea or structure. The linear path through the composition and how forms interact with each other on that path is integral for the telling of my story.  My most recent work is in oil—thus more painterly—but my use of color or absence of color remains a supportive element secondary to the story itself.
