“D.B.A., Doing business As...” is a collaborative of Selected artists and Artist as Entreprenuer Institute (AEI) graduates who have curated and exhibited their artwork at Gallery Six on the sixth floor Main Library of Broward County.

LeeAnna Yater, the Broward Cultural Arts grant recipient for the project curated the first show with the assistance of AEI graduates: Virginia Fifield and Jacklyn Laflamme.

We selected 10 AEI graduates (including Yater, Laflamme, & Fifield) to display artwork in the exhibition. The need for this program and forum provides an opportunity for these Artist Entrepreneur Institute graduates to utilize the skills and information gained from the program to establish experience as professional artists to springboard and further their careers.

Additionally it provides a model for future AEI graduates to carry on the tradition of exhibiting and doing business as artists. This exhibition will also provide to the community a showcase of quality artwork.
